ABOUT ME
HEY, I'M CHRIS!
I'm a graphic designer, and brand designer from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
I began my graphic design journey at the age of nine by self-teaching myself graphic design through YouTube lessons and learning things by messing around in Photoshop.
I went on to study graphic design throughout High School and College, which is where I became passionate about logo design, eventually leading me to take the jump at becoming a freelance brand designer.
SO WHY LOGOS?
I became passionate about logo design the first time I read a brand guidelines document.
The company I was working for at the time had recently rebranded, and as the Marketing Coordinator I was handed the brand guidelines document to familiarize myself with how to use the new logo.
I was absolutely amazed at how this logo was able to tell the story of the company's 150 year history, while simultaneously representing what the company does in such a clean and sleek manner.
From that moment on I knew I wanted to be able to tell those stories with my graphic design work.
